Jay Crystall combines multimedia and interactive activities with textbook learning, role play, drama and music to IMMERSE students in the world of English and develop their language quickly.
ニューヨークの美術館で展示会責任者を経て、ニューヨークの広告代理店でエンジニアとして勤務。
又SGI-USAのとして20年以上ボランティアに従事し、子供から大人まで音楽講師を通して積極的に活動を行う。
2010年に日本へ移住し、様々な有名大学や英会話学校で英語教師として働きながら、関西Rocks! Musicの設立等も手がける。
2013年度、このWave Centerの設立者として活動を開始。
英語講師だけでなく、"Kansai Rocks - Changing Poison into Medicine" のCDをリリース。

His broad ranging experience has allowed him to carefully look at the current state of teaching language in Japan - the good and the bad points. He has designed teaching methods and programs that connect Japan to the World……and the World to Japan through English language and Cultural education and exchange. The WAVE Center of Language + Education is the unique and shining fufillment of this journey and mission.
Jay Sensei comes from NYC where he worked in the Fine Arts world with museums and galleries managing artwork and setting up exhibitions. He also spent years as a Civil Engineer and in the Advertising and Event Production industries. Jay also spent over 20 years volunteering with the SGI-USA, an International NGO, working with kids, teenagers and adults teaching them everything from musical performance to LEADERSHIP and LIFE skills,
He moved to Japan in 2010 and has worked in private schools and universities teaching English in addition to forming Kansai Rocks! Music.
In addition to founding the WAVE, he is currently teaching speaking and presentation skills at Doshisha University and general and business English skills toseveral private companies throughout the Kansai area. Jay also started The Beatles English Salon in Osaka where students learnt the basics of pronunciation and grammar while singing Beatles songs LIVE!
In addition to teaching English, he recorded and released his debut CD "Kansai Rocks - Changing Poison into Medicine" a collection of original and positive world music and reggae that has received great reviews internationally [available on iTunes].
